Gus Van Sant, born July 24, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, is a motion picture director and producer. he is is an executive producer for the series. He directed the series pilot "Listen". He has worked extensively as a feature film director and helmed the films Good Will Hunting (1997), Elephant (2003), Paris, je t'aime (2006), and Milk (2008).
